Detalles de la observación
When I arrived, a photographer told me he had been unable to locate the bird. After a while I looked down at the little muddy beach where there were some WESA, and there was a slightly larger sandpiper slightly apart from them. It had a buffy belly, almost same colour as the back. The flock all flew off, then turned back to the beach. The WESA landed on the beach but the BBSA continued on and landed on the dike, where it foraged in the grass next to the road for quite a while. Will post a not-too-bad photo.
