Detalles de la observación
*Rare in Norfolk County at all times, and on the very early side. Fantastic looks (by far my best yet) as it was foraging on the gravel trail. Pinkish bill, warm buffy brownish breast and cheeks, black/brown eye contrasting sharply with plain buffy cheeks, faded mutton chops pattern on face, white throat, large rusty wingbar with white edging on both sides. Whitish flanks, intricately patterned back. Squat posture when feeding, with belly low to the ground. Slightly larger than SOSP. Mainly walking around but sometimes hopping. Appeared to be eating grass seeds, including pulling from the tips of grass stalks. Many photos. My first for Quincy and Norfolk County.
