Detalles de la observación
CBTH or mockingbird mimicking CBTH? Heard “whit-wheet!” calls on two occasions, the first being quite loud and obviously close by on river rd, immediately I recognized as this sp but didn’t register how unusual it would be. While recording something else about ten minutes later, it called again, twice and I picked it up in the background but this time it was much quieter. It didn’t sound like it was part of any mockingbird song either time. It sounded like the type that’s common in the Tucson area rather than eastern birds (i.e. not “wheet-wheet!”)
