Unexpected, and a lifer for Efua! Initially heard calling as it took a short flight between small trees on the west side of field 16. Though it was obscured by leaves, I could see white outer tail feathers and a boldly patterned face, so I suspected LASP. Then it flew out onto the asphalt path under the bridge and paused for a few moments, leaving no doubt as to its identity. It took what appeared to be a short flight further to the west from there but we didn’t see where it settled and weren’t able to relocate it despite thorough searching of the immediate area.
