We heard them earlier, and I asked, "Cacique? Oropendola?" and they said, "No. Those are Loras with Red heads that live higher... As we drove out, the Oropendolas flashed yellow and black - and we stopped for good photos. The marker on the map shows the tree where the nests are hanging, but the oropendolas, Yellow-tailed Orioles, Ecuadorian Thrushes and Saltator were in leafless bamboo near the tree.
