What seem to be songs of Hooded Grosbeaks in trees overhead at our campsite in Chihuahua's Copper Canyon area, between Mesa Arturo and the Mirador Cerro Gallego. Cattle mooing in background. Recorded using a Sony PCM-M10 with a Sennheiser ME67 with a K6 power module & foam windscreen.
Detalles de la observación
One bird moved through camp singing early (recording); one vocalized briefly with our one big flock; and several were feeding on berries in the same areas as yesterday; one more heard calling. Seemed to be widespread in small numbers.
