Detalles de la observación
These birds seem to be truly wild-type specimens, having plumage, habits and habitat preference all resembling the ancestral form of the species. They were all the same in terms of plumage, with steel-blue head, neck and underparts, pale grey wings with two dark bands, and a green-purple gloss on their necks. They were by no means tame, not allowing a close approach. They were apparently faithful to the rocky habitat of the breakwall, being likely quite at home here in a rocky habitat by the sea, and, being observed in pairs, likely breeding here. This requires further observation and corroboration.
