Long series of cuts of a loose group of longspurs feeding on the shoulder of a back road, often in the company of Horned Larks and occasionally a Snow Bunting or too (always apart from the main bunting flock in these recordings.) The flock varied from one or two individuals to 11 at one point, with an additional few in the area. Most common call was the slightly descending, polyphonic "teer" call, but variations of the rattle call were given frequently as well.
