Detalles de la observación
Restricted access to this part of park. Inquire for access possibilities. Notably yellowish empid with teardrop eyering, slight crested appearance, and entirely yellow lower mandible. Flicked tail upwards. Heard giving up-slurred call note "su-weep!",3 times, and single SEET! call note repetitively reminding me of OCWA. Responded immediately to PSFL playback giving pretty close views. Equestrian area of park. Seen on trail to river near blue trail marker, and again past toilet about 200 yds away. (2nd bird?). This is an apparent irruption year for the species in Texas as there have been many scattered reports around the state.
