Detalles de la observación
This bird was initially entered as Roseate Tern as seen in flight it displayed long tail.dark cap and red beak and reddish legs. The bird flew by the group near the office that alerted us of the bird.We saw the bird flying towards us at almost eye level then going higher, some pictures were obtained at this point by Giovanni Martinez. We revised the pictures later and after Francis Canto's conclusion we have also agreed that in fact the species is an Arctic Tern based on the fieldmarks obtained from the pictures observed initially by Francis Canto. The pictures displays a bird with a very small head and rounded, the beak is small and bright red,not orange and no black on the beak. There are 3 species that can have similar color beak, the Common ,Forster's and Roseate terns but with some black on the beak.Thsi bird had an overall red beak, the size of the beak of this bird was smaller. We will upload our pictures.
