Calls of White-tailed Tyrannulet with a mixed flock in bamboo forest along the road down into the crater, at 2370m (by my watch). Among others, Chestnut-crowned Antpitta and a Leymebamba Antpitta can be heard singing in background. I suppressed 0-600Hz to eliminate motorcycle noise.
Detalles de la observación
Each, two of them with a mixed flock and one by itself, was small and flitty, showing extensive white under the tall and some white visible in upper tail (as seen when the bird lands); small, slender bill and slight buff cast to whitish wing bars; bluish-gray crown above a broad white supercilium. We had good looks both times. Our encounters were at the lowest elevation we birded today.
