Detalles de la observación
Dark streaking on breast, some barring on underparts, dark moustache, white throat and large white cheek. Appeared to be a 1st year bird - crown pale rather than dark. Poor photos. Seemed to have a feather or something stuck in its craw, kept opening its mouth as seen in photo. I was watching frantic activity of robins and waxwings in Juniper when they suddenly flushed. Peregrine appeared about 30 seconds later, circled the juniper by the dock, then flew across cove and landed in tree along water's edge. After a few minutes it flew out over the water toward the Bufflehead, but turned and headed east up river. When it flew a Ring-billed Gull gave chase.
