Female Hook billed kite was spotted in a tree about 200 yds to the southwest of the tower at 8:45 a.m. She flew to a nearby tree and later dropped down into the canopy. She was visible for about 7 mins. The male appeared at 9:00 a.m. soaring near the tower to the west. It made several passes before also dropping down into the canopy. Both birds were photographed and photos will be uploaded.
