A juvenile and a female
Detalles de la observación
Just before sunset the Magnificent Frigatebirds approached from the Atlantic over the jetty then soared over the inlet and then over the light house area for about 10 minutes. They drifted to the north west and out of sight. They stayed as a flock the whole time. The birds were large and dark and had long pointed wings with a sharp bend. They had long forked tails, but held their tails closed most of the time. The bills were long and hooked. We observed males with a red stripe on the neck, females with white necks and black heads and juveniles with white breast and head. We took lots of pictures.
