Comentarios

Male emitting two sounds: low hmmm and several whistling notes. The male Curassow was seen infrequently at the Paujil Lodge. On this occasion it turned its back on me and lowered its head as it emitted a very low pitched hmmmm (almost inaudible). The feathers on the back rise as it makes this call. The male also made several thrill whistles before it departed. Elevation: 218 m. Date added to IBC: March 10, 2019.
