These birds are the south-western Australian race semitorquatus, known locally as the ‘Twenty-eight Parrot’ because of its call. They were feeding on the dry seed heads of introduced daisies growing on the verge of Coodanup on Peel Inlet, south of Perth in Western Australia. Elevation: 0 m. Date added to IBC: October 28, 2018.
