A pair of breeding Bridled Terns preening. The Bridled Tern (Onychoprion anaethetus) is widely distributed around the northern coast of Australia and reaches its southern limit in Geographe Bay, about 200 km south of Perth. Bridled Terns breed on several limestone islands of the southern coast of Western Australia. This pair was sitting near their concealed nest preening on dune vegetation on Penguin Island, south of Perth. Elevation: 11 m. Date added to IBC: July 12, 2018.
