Detalles de la observación
I found this bird along the north edge of the salt marsh, where Estero Street dead ends at the UC Reserve gate. The bird ranged along the train tracks east to Pear Street flying into the salt marsh to forage in the reserve several times. The bird visited several backyards along the train tracks, perching in trees not found in the salt marsh (third photo). The first two photos show the bird in more typical perches along the tracks. Within the area the bird frequented were small pools of standing water on either side of the tracks, short grasses and woody stalks. The bird was seen by many birders during its stay 24 November 2010 through 19 February 2011. These photos are from the first day.
