Hooded Warbler
Detalles de la observación
I had inquired, from another birder as I was entering the park, what the highlights had been. He commented that a Hooded Warbler had been seen by others (thank you). It allowed me to keep my eyes out for it and I almost practically walked up on it about 10 minutes later as I went up the first path to the right past the footbridge. It was on the ground and hopped ini the shade of the base of a bush before hopping down again to the ground. Within seconds, a female HW flew into its location and looked to have landed for a split second next to it (practically looked like it tagged the male). The female then did a 180 and flew back down towards the creek as the male gave chase. I lost them at that point but about 15 minutes later I would find the male in the far right corner of the park (up the hill again). It allowed me to get a couple of more quick pictures but I did not see the female. I did not hear any vocalization in my observations.
