After deciding to turn back, Jerome played a short bout of Gray Wren and got an immediate response behind us from a singing bird in the top of a tree that was at eye level (as the forest was flooded and we were in a boat). Incredible views, nearly too close to focus at one point, Nicole obtained incredible photos (perhaps the best for this species?). This was our 3rd, of 4 birds seen/heard in this stretch.
