Detalles de la observación
I noticed it because it was sitting in the top of a walnut tree where a male kestrel usually sits but this bird was bigger. Had brown streaked breast, brown back, small bill like a falcon, sideburns were there but faint. I took some pictures and watched for a bit. It flew after a mourning dove but didn't get it and came and landed in the same spot. Sharp pointed wings and really fast. I can post pictures if need be. I saw the male kestrel a little later but in a different spot.
