Detalles de la observación
I walked to the large boulders directly above the river listening for CAWRs awhile, quiet. I then played a CAWR call on my phone. I listened again expecting a song from Goose Rock across the river. The response came in a series of three very loud "jeet" calls from my side of the river, 20-30 ft away. I don't know if it flew in or was right there the whole time. The bird then popped out of the brush onto the nearby boulders. Photo opportunity. Later another more distant (200 yds plus) CAWR sang from the cliff face several times.
