Detalles de la observación
Including 1 singing. Ca 12 seen in flight at once at 0928, over reach 4. At 0934, 12 more flew to the NW. At 1345, saw 1 AMRO perched near the raised hill, and then ca 6 dove into a thicket 80 m E. Otherwise, up to this point, largely seen in flight. Ca 1357, in the vicinity of Alnus incana and a mostly leafless but fruit-rich Prunus virginiana thicket along the stream, I saw ca 10 AMRO, vocalizing a lot. Saw several eat P. virginiana fruits whole. Also saw at least 2 CEDW eating P. virginiana fruits; also 1 seen sallying. Then a Catharus thrush seen backlit in the understory, which I later confirmed was a HETH. Continued to observe until 1442 and AMRO continued to feed. I did hear "see" calls and saw little activity for a minute or two after I spotted the GOEA (1412). At 1438, 2 CORA soared vocally over the raised hill area; BCCH and AMRO gave some aerial predator-type alarms. On the return at 1622, still saw a minimum of ca 20 AMRO perched between the raised hill and the cross-fence, feeding on chokecherry fruits. Heard 1 singing. Still heard occasional CEDW calls in the vicinity too.
