Detalles de la observación
Heard singing its cheery musical song about .5 miles south of Montano bridge along the small trail that parallels the river. Along this section of trail the understory opens up beneath middle aged cottonwoods. Immediately south of here there’s dense New Mexico Olive, Golden Currant, and Russian Olive on both sides of the trail. This was the spot. See New Mexico Rare Birds Facebook Page for a screen shot of the area. The bird was seen very well in plain view multiple times. Small body with fairly long tail. Bright yellow below and olive above. Bright yellow facial region border by black hood and extensive black bib. Photos shortly. Bill fairly long and flat.
