Adult female brooding day-old nestlings.

When I arrived the female was at the nest but not sitting fully, as if brooding. She moved around several times and then flew off, at which point the male flew in, stood on edge of nest and gently fed some tiny nestlings! He left and the female came back to brood a bit. She soon left again and was gone for 5+ minutes (temp was 15 degrees!). When she got back the male came in and fed her while she was brooding. Shortly later she too fed the nestlings. I imagine they're just a few days old. First found incubating female on March 4.
