Detalles de la observación
We had everyone looking for albatrosses on the way back. At one point, we picked one up crossing far off the bow, and we went running back shouting "albatross!" only to meet another group running forward, shouting about a bird coming up the wake. For the next little while, we saw a steady procession of birds, clearly traversing a route of theirs. Some approached quite close to the boat, to everyone's great delight. The enormous wingspan, cartoon-like head, hunched back, and effortless glides just off the waves were just extraordinary to observe.
