Detalles de la observación
Pluvialis plover with speckled back, prominent white supercilium contrasting with dark cap, even grayish-white tone to breast, and relatively small head and bill. Observed in flight, and combination of dark rump, dark grey underwing and thin wing stripe rule out BBPL and EUGP. Overall lack of yellow/golden tones rules out PAGP. First observed associating with killdeer on the south edge of the cornfield. We followed the bird as it occasionally scurried along the border with the artificial wetland. It took flight with some killdeer after several minutes of observation and landed just south of the community garden, still in the cornfield. Binocular photo provided, which may not be useful.
