Detalles de la observación
Continuing. I have seen reports of as many as 30 here, but more often I see only 1 or 2 reported. The Bronze is smaller than the SBMU, has a creamy white breast contrasting strongly with a very dark brown throat. (The SBMU of course has the scaly breast that lowers any contrast between the breast and dark throat. Higher contrast in BRMA is easy to pick out.) There is also a dark teal-blue wing patch and spot on the side of the breast, under the wing, of the BRMA. More colorful than the munias. Finally, the BRMA has a pail (ivory/silver gray) lower mandible with black upper (compared to SBMU with black upper and lower mandible). Flight style and behavior is similar between the two species. Photos to post shortly.
