NOTES: whistled calls from 2 birds 2+ types of calls = sings Also: stream, acorn woodpecker, cardinal, Lucy's Warbler Q 2 [Two or three vocalizations by this species are represented here, but the loudest songs in the first part of the recording are those of Thryomanes bewickii. Most titmouse vocalizations here are Type 2 songs of BNA account (0:245-0:255, 0:28-0:295, 0:345-0:365, 0:395-0:41, 0:53-0:545, 0:585-1:00, 1:06-1:07, 1:16-1:17, 1:18-1:195, 1:265-1:28 (overlapping what appears to be a series od B-notes given by a second bird - see below), 1:355-1:37, 1:395-1:41, 1:44-1:45, 1:49-1:505, 1:525-1:54, 2:07-2:085, 2:135-2:15, 2:205-2:215, 2:255-2:27, 2:31-2:32, 2:42-2:435, 2:46-2:475, 2:54-2:555, 2:595-3:005, 3:05-3:065, 3:10-3:115, and 3:145-3:16). Apparently given by a second bird are series of notes typical of the "Chick-a-dee" Call as follows: series of B-notes are given at 1:24-1:245, 1:265-1:28, 1:445-1:45, 1:36-1:365,1:51-1:52, 2:015-2:03 (distant), 2:08-2:09, 2:26-2:265, 2:415-2:425, and 2:47-2:48, and series of C-notes are given at 1:085, 1:10, 1:23-1:24, 1:325, 1:385, 1:455-1:465, 2:105-2:12, 2:15-2:16, 2:175-2:185, 2:225-2:23, 2:265-2:275, 2:305-2:31, 2:32-2:33, 2:35-2:355, 2:505-2:515, and 2:565-2:575 (many of these are distant). There are also B-note/C-note combinations at 1:335-1:345, 1:41-1:425, 2:29-2:305, and 2:44-2:45. Scattered throughout this recording are single notes similar to the soft, lisping "sip" descrined in account for Baeolophus inornatus/ridgwayi but not for B. wollweberi (e.g., 1:015-1:035), but I suspect that at least some of these calls were given by a warbler, possibly Vermivora luciae. Quality added (2-3, 2-1 - BEST part 1:23-1:54 - much of the rest is quite busy) - CAM - 29 March 2005].

Especies adicionales

  • Northern Cardinal Cardinalis cardinalis
  • Acorn Woodpecker Melanerpes formicivorus
