From a text from Deac Manross, whose home is on the SW corner of Edinboro Lake, to James Hill: "Since early this morning, there have been two Bald Eagles out in the center of the lake picking apart what looks to be a Canada Goose carcass. I think that Canada Goose is the one I featured in an Edinboro Neighbors, Facebook post a day or so ago. It was all by itself and hadn’t moved for about 14 hours, so we got in touch with the PA Game Commission, the Edinboro Fire Department, and they went out to try to secure it to take it to Tamarack, but it walked and then flew away about 30 feet so they gave up the chase." The photo with the house in the background is by Jean Fera, a Lakeside resident, who posted the image on Edinboro Neighbors, a Facebook group. The other photo is by Deac Manross.
