Detalles de la observación
Two immature birds. They were initially seen with some Juncos at the entrance to manure/equipment yard southwest of the intersection of McCooey and Ash Lanes. At first, I thought there was a single bird and a possible second bird but then birds flew along the south fence and disappeared. I was able to relocate them along the north fence line of this compound where they were sheltering from the wind in the lee of a White Cedar tree. Fields noted seen: the crown of these birds was in stripes of alternating buff and off-white; the bill was pinkish; the breast was whitish with no streaking or spots; there were double white wing bars. When I found these birds, I did not realize that two immature White-crowns had been seen at this location on Dec 4, 2025, by Aidan Hamilton. The birds that I saw were almost certainly the same birds as Aidan saw on Dec 4th. I will attach photos of these birds later.
