Detalles de la observación
Flagged rare and unexpected in this habitat and at this date. Ty pursued an unusual bird in a large mixed species roadside foraging flock (DEJU, WTSP, FISP, SOSP, EATO, TUTI, EABL, AGOL) for about a quarter mile along the edge of Seldom Seen Road near Pullin Road junction. They all stayed fairly far away and ahead of us, and after a passing truck flushed almost all of the birds down into the narrow field gully, he snapped a few more shots of the ones that remained before we decided to leave. It wasn't until later in the evening while looking through photos that Ty discovered this was probably one of the strange distant birds we never got great looks at (the other turned out to be a weird FISP). This is the only photo; it shows the bird flying up from the north side of the road near here: 38.371587,-79.504483.
