Amazing find by Harrison Horn and David Rice on the CBC. Gray towhee with rufous crown and lime green wings and tail. After a frustrating 2 hours, Aaron finally found the bird and called everyone over. As we were watching, it popped up here (37.7521996, -122.2101810) for about a minute before dropping back down into the undergrowth. County bird! And this makes 289 Alameda birds for the year, tying the previous record. 🥳
