Detalles de la observación

Continuing adult, apparently over-wintering. Overall black with broad wings and wide white tail band. Dropped down out of one of the trees overlooking the pond and snagged a fish (rainbow trout, I think) on its second try, then proceeded to drop it back into the water a few minutes after landing. Looks like the fish might have had a hook in its mouth. Photos.
