Heard first with Sound ID confirming, then seen perched on a prominent branch at the edge of the golf course. Spotted from Mineral Wells Trail where others have reported it. Darker head than nearby Cassin’s Kingbirds, with more extensive white on the throat, and heftier bill. See photo.
