All vegetation (Trees, shrubs, and ground cover has been stripped away by bulldozer. A forest of junipers is gone. Maximization of water flow is the goal, so all obstacles have been removed, including all hilliness. Before the bulldozing, you couldn't see any bare spots from this view.
