This includes vocalizations from many species, as many birds were active in the area. The Euphagus carolinus vocalizes several times near the beginning of the track, and twice more near the end. One of the clearest E. carolinus song vocalizations begins just past 14 seconds in the track.
Detalles de la observación
Dark brown bird, dark legs and beak, pale yellow eye. With a flock of Red-winged Blackbirds, vocalizing from trees and foraging on the ground along with Red-winged Blackbirds, Robins, Bluebirds, a few other species. Seen most clearly on the ground by a ditch, foraging through some leaves and debris from the ongoing rain over the past few days. It flew away with the Red-winged Blackbirds. Merlin identified its vocalizations several times. I've uploaded the audio from Merlin, which identified the Rusty Blackbird vocalizing several times, with possibly the clearest being about 15 seconds into the recording. The audio file includes a number of other species as many birds were active.
