Fantastic sighting of large flocks of Asian Rosy Finches! The birds were found on the south side of the climbing trail near the abandoned cable car station, at about 2,000–2,050 meters high. At least two large flocks of 50+ and 100+ individuals. The flocks were periodically taking off and calling in a striking display before landing back on the grassy slopes to busily forage.
