Twitched lingering rarity. It was apparently present in the morning but left at 10.00. Arrived much later at around 17.08 by itself, landed into a group of plovers before flying away again by itself only seconds later. Joined a different group of redshanks and sandpipers which we lost track of. Small head compared to body, distinct supercilium and long bill seen well.
