Per Tim Spahr of the Finch Research Network: "Because this bird is singing in part, I cannot get it to flight call type. That being said, I suspect there's at least one Cassia Crossbill in the mix, and maybe a Type 1 as well. If you get more recordings I can try. Often these softly-singing birds or birds drinking/bathing birds never really make good flight calls so it can be tough to get them to flight call type or species." The same recording is also under Red Crossbill.
