Flew in seemingly out of nowhere as I started pishing at the big brushpile at the tree dump. First located by its distinctive wwcr-like “jig-jig” calls, it gave a couple dramatic uprising nasal calls and then continued giving flight calls as it flew fairly low to the southwest. Small goldfinch/siskin sized/shaped passerine overall grayish in coloration with the underparts being paler and streaked. Sounded typical for Common as opposed to Hoary.
