Robyn spotted these as we pulled off I-81. We were about to turn west, but no one else was on the exit, so we safely pulled over. They were in the field in the southeast of the interchange. Blocky heads and chunky bodies. Yellow shortish chunky thick bills. Gray black legs with dark feet. We watched them for about 2-3 minutes via binoculars (only poor quality cell phone camera photos). They lifted and flew west over the interstate to the Hotspot named Hardee’s Pond. WCB had a single cell phone photo in flight. RAP also had one cell phone photo.
