Reported by David Somers. Sparrow seen running mouselike, in roadside ditch, constantly hiding in grass and vegetation. Found it moving along the bottom of the ditch edging the blueberry barrens in the area where a rock wall ends. Had multiple looks but always brief. A real skulker! Overall brownish tan sparrow with; buffy median crown stripe; some brownish wash to flanks; whitish complete eye ring; gray bill; buffy bracing on back; some streaking on a buffy breast; possibly an immature bird.
