Ongoing rarity at this location. Two other birders observed the bird for a while. First, the wings were longer than other nearby plovers. The wings were a darker contrasting coloration than nearby BBPLs. The bill was smaller than nearby BBPLs. It had a brownish/beige chest. A significant and noticeable white line above the eye.
