Reliable difference to separate it from a Kentish. 1. Bill, though not exactly side by side, the bill of the back-bird is slightly thicker and has a more triangular tip than the front-bird whose bill appears fine. 2. The broader white nuchal collar. 3. Shorter lateral breast patches on the back-bird. It is longer and thinner on the front bird. 4. The brown portion under the eye is darker in front-bird, almost same intensity as the brown in rest of it's head. In the back-bird, brown seems to smudge and grade into the pure white under it. It is still the same brown colouration of the crown but is paler than the brown behind its eye. 5. Back-bird has more pale or whiter finges to scapulars and coverts compared to front bird. 6. Legs of back-bird appear paler than the front-bird.
