Detalles de la observación
With the other 3 warbler species at Berners and Radcliffe at 08:20. Very active and not showing itself as frequently as the other species. The light was poor. I had multiple brief glimpses, usually of portions of the bird. I noted "Warbler with a YEWA and a OCWA. Actively foraging in bushes and Mt. Ash. Two thin white wing bars on gray wings. Top and sides of head gray with white around eye. Yellow undersides with some white in throat. Dark, broken dashes on rear flanks." I took about a dozen photos and was surprised to find that one actually showed the bird! (Included here.) At the time, I was not matching it to birds in the Sibley app, because the bird's colors seemed too drab for Magnolia Warbler. I returned later with Patty, Mark, and Sean and had a much better view in better light. Patty and Mark got excellent views and photos after Sean and I left.
