Crazy relocation. Nick and I just decided to check Cluwexe Estuary just for fun on the way back from Port Hardy after dipping on STFL found yesterday by Émile Brisson-Curadeau at Port Hardy Airport. Walked in past the gate on the road to Cluwexe Estuary at around 2:50pm and quickly spotted a large flycatcher on the power line. Large flycatcher, clean gray head with black eyeline similar to kingbird. Pinkish-rusty flanks and long black tail confirmed STFL. Unmistakeable once in flight. Lifer for Nick!
