Lifer! Found by Bob Dixon, continuing for the third day. Got Loch Ness Monster quality digiscopes. In its shape and proportions this bird inspires subjective descriptors: dainty, elegant, even snooty, like if it saw a HOGR at a party it might pretend they hadn’t met before, or might expect it to be serving the hors d’oeuvres. Compared to HOGR, smaller, thinner-billed, head peaked farther forward, lower contrast overall with duskier face pattern.
