It seemed to favor the tall Juniper trees right next to the NE corner of chain link fence. Often it was high up in these tall trees, but eventually it did come down for a time just a couple of feet about head level. The yellow was fairly bright in front and on the sides and there where thick black streaks on the sides. The wings and tail were dark grey or black, except for the outer tail feathers were white and very noticeable when in flight. Juvenile or female judging from gray on the side of the face and lack of bright yellow supercilium and black markings on the face. Photos.
