I first heard a very different call coming from the eucalyptus treetop here: 37.40710° N, 121.95584° W I kept seeing chickadees, but finally got my binoculars on a yellowish warbler with blurry streaks on breast and sides and two white wingbars. When the bird moved to the bottom 1/3 of the tree, it perched long enough to show off bright yellow feet!
